Albert Haynes was born in 1887, the son of Fredrick and Elizabeth Haynes. In 1901 the family of 6 were living at the Post Office in Mackworth. Albert was still living in Mackworth in 1911 and was now at work as a “Stores Railway Labourer”.
No record of his war service has yet been found.
After the war he went on to marry Agnes and continued to live in the area until his death on the 9th February 1962 and he is buried with his wife in All Saints Churchyard.
